The Buy/Sell Holiday wizard is used to create the relevant holiday allowance record for an employee that wishes to either purchase additional holidays or sell unwanted holidays, in addition to creating the appropriate payment or deduction in the Working File if the Payroll module is used.
Before the wizard is implemented, the relevant holiday allowance definitions must be created to buy and/or sell holidays.
Employee Reference
Select the employee who wishes to trade their holidays.
Holiday Allowance
Select the holiday allowance that’s been defined as a holiday allowance that can be used to either buy or sell holidays.
Payment/Deduction Code
By default, the payment/deduction code associated to the selected holiday allowance will be shown here, but a different payment/deduction code can be selected.
Number of Days
Enter the number of days holiday to be purchased or sold by the selected employee.
