Class 1A NI Calculation

Use this wizard to determine the value of class 1A national insurance contributions, to be included in statutory year-end reports. This should only apply to organizations that have employees who receive this type of benefit.

After you provide satisfactory confirmation, the HR records are reviewed and if an employee has associated Class 1A benefits, as recorded against the HR Record function, the provided percentage is calculated and recorded on this year’s accumulated balances for later inclusion on the required prints and enquiries.

The percentage parameter used is recorded as a module parameter and used as a default for subsequent occasions when you use this function.
