Workflow Example

Although an indefinite number of responses (next actions) may be defined for a single action, the system will require indication of which of them should be utilised when:

A Waiting Action Is Resolved. (At the end of the waiting period or at anytime during the waiting period the action can be marked as resolved)

A Waiting Action Has Expired. (At the end of the waiting period the action was not resolved)

Although an indefinite number of responses may be recorded by the system, the “norm” would be for 0 to 3 responses to accommodate the scenarios described above. Other responses which are defined have no other way of being performed other than by using the Intervene option on the Workflow Workbench. This allows you to manually select the next action from the list of available responses.
