Working Pattern
Type a unique code for the working pattern.
Description
Type a description for the working pattern. Examples: Weekends, Full Time, or Tue – Fri.
Include Non Working Days
The Work Pattern window has been enhance to allow flexibility to Include or Exclude Non Working Days for Sickness, Holidays duration calculations as well as the number of days in the month for Payroll calculations where the React to Critical Dates is set to Working Day Specific:-

Flexible Working Patterns
Allow FWP
Select this check box to define and use a flexible working pattern (FWP).
When you select this check box, the days under Working Days and the Non Working tab are not available, because the system uses the details you define for the FWP. You define the flexible working pattern for the year on the Pattern tab.
Start Date
Type, or click … and select, the start date for the flexible working pattern.
This field is available only when you select the Allow FWP check box.
Weeks
Type the number of weeks for which you want to define the flexible working pattern.
This field is available only when you select the Allow FWP check box.
End Date
Type, or click … and select, the end date for the flexible working pattern.
This field is available only when you select the Allow FWP check box.
Working Days
Monday – Sunday
Select the check box for each day of the week, to define the days on which employees who follow this pattern work.
These check boxes are not available when you select the Allow FWP check box.
