If the process has been defined to start when Requested/Scheduled, then the initial performance of the Workflow will have to be instigated manually. Then this will examine entries on the qualifying query and potentially create the initial action for the selected items. The Interval Diary Rule will ensure subsequent performances of this workflow on activated on the required next date and this may then reiterate until you manually intervene and stop the Workflow by removing the Interval Diary Rule and the Next Action Date. The absence of these details will prevent the Workflow from being activated automatically by the system and after this it will only be restarted by manually intervention, i.e. by using this command button.
