Grouping the data
Drag and drop the required column header into the grey bar above the column headings.
The data is grouped by this column and totals are displayed in the grid. Click the – button to contract the groups and click the + button to expand the groups.
You can change the sort order by clicking the column’s group button in the grey area above the column headers.
Up to four levels of grouping can be applied.
Remove a grouping by dragging the column’s grouping button out of the grey area above the column headers:
The number of occurances of the field that has been used to group will be counted. This is best illustrated when the records have been collapsed.
When selecting the fields, if a field has been set to Totals, the sum of the data in the field will be shown. This is best illustrated when the records have been collapsed.
