Use this wizard to copy access permissions from one user to another. This wizard is for application administrators.
You can copy either the options that the user sees in the menus, or the fields that the user is allowed to see, or both. You must select the user to copy from, and the user to copy to.
The wizard has three pages.
On page 1, select one or both of the following:
- Function Access / Display, to copy the options that users see in the menus.
- Data Access, to copy the data item access permissions that determine which fields users can view or update.
On page 2, select the user that has the access rights and permissions you want to apply to another user, and click Next.
On page 3, select the user to which the new permissions are applied. Click Finish and confirm you want to continue and copy the access permissions.
